Winter Sock Club

Well I've decided to Collaborate with another Hand dyer to bring forth a great Winter Sock club.

Me and Erin have paired up and will be offering club participants 6 colorways over the course of 3 months. In December, January, and February you will receive a 4 oz hank of seasonally themed yarn from both Brooklyn Handspun and C*EYE*BER Fibers. All superwash. All sock weights ( fingering to sport). The cost is 150.00 with shipping in the US. (Email for rates outside of the US). Please email me if you'd like to join the club or have any questions about it.

Update: I've heard from a few of my mailing list customers that for some reason the email update didn't go through so I'm going to let the cat out of the bag - here is the temporary URL for the store - www.brooklynhandspun.com/Store

Yes the store is finally up and right now being tested out by my wonderful mailing list customers - you guys rock!

I'm going to be updating again soon with more yarn and spinning supplies - and this time the mailing list and the blogs will be notified.

Well I don't have any new sock yarn to show you just yet - but next week I'll have a ton - and not just yarn also spinning batts, fiber and handspun yarn! Most likely it will be in my new STORE - but right now I can't give too much away. Signature SW - My original Superwash yarn which is a tight twist fine fingering yarn and 4 oz has approx 480 yards. Knit best with a 0 or 1 needle

Soft Spun SW - Similar to the Signature except the twist is not as tight, also a fine fingering 4 oz has approx. 500 yards

Instant Gratification SW - This Superwash sock yarn knits up quickly and you can have a pair of socks in no time. 4oz. has 280 yards which is perfect for a pair of socks. Use needles from 3-6 or so (I like 3 or 4's myself)

Sock yarn Update - SOLD OUT

I know it's been a while but here we go!

In this update I have 3 different types of Superwash yarn. They are all $22 per skein. I'm sorry but due to rising costs I'm going to have to start charging $1 per skein for shipping - this is still less than the actual shipping costs! Please email me for Availability and Payment.

Signature SW - My original Superwash yarn which is a tight twist fine fingering yarn and 4 oz has approx 480 yards. Knit best with a 0 or 1 needle

Unfortunately due to a very large number of custom orders, I won't have new items this week but I will be receiving a shipment of yarn early next week and I will keep you posted on when the next batch will be up. Thanks for your patience!

The superwash would also make a lovely lace item!

I've got up both 100% Merino (handwash) and 100% superwash wool. The Superwash is new and I love it - it looks very much like koigu and it's got a lovely silky feel to it. It's also super vibrant!
